8 cSt is a high-performance Group III base oil with good oxidation stability, low sulfur content, high viscosity index, and excellent low-temperature fluidity. This line of products is widely used as a blending component in various industrial and automotive lubricants and functional fluids. It can also be used as a viscosity index improver for low viscosity index base oils. Enhanced thermal and oxidation stability increases engine protection and helps extend the longevity of the lubricant.
Range of application
- Textile and cutting oils
- Lubricant formulations for turbines
- Engines, heat pumps, exchangers, and hydraulic fluids
- Blending component to improve the viscosity index of other base oils
- Additive for various industrial and automotive lubricants
8 cSt Advantages
- A low pour point guarantees excellent oil pumpability and quick starting in subfreezing temperatures, making it suitable for use in a wide range of climatic conditions.
- Its thermal oxidation stability minimizes oil oxidation at high engine temperatures and prevents scale deposition.
- Low volatility decreases the frequency of oil refills. It provides extended service life, lasting 1.5 to 2 times longer than mineral oils, even under harsh operating conditions.
- Additionally, it is compatible with both mineral oils and ethers.
